LaFayette Shop Holdout For Further Inerease
The wage conference committee, of the Monon shops at LaFayette will not go to Chicago today to confer with president Kurrie. Following a meeting held Saturday it was decided by the men to ask for a three cent increase as against the company's offer of two and one-half cents. The railroad officials declined to state their course of action pending word from the committee.
