Long Illness of Chas. Viek Relieved By Death.

Charles C. Vick, age 82 years, died at his home this Tuesday morning at about 9 o’clock* On account of ill health and loss of sight, Mr. Vick had been helpless for a number of years. During this long period he had exhausted his resources and was compelled to accept Charity. During these long, trying years his faithful wife has done everything possible to contribute to his comfort and support. Mr. Vick' came to Rensselaer a number of years ago and operated a fruit and candy store and also conducted a newspaper distribution agency. He later was quite successful in the sale of optical goods, but wae forced to give this up on account of failing eyesight. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church tomorrow afternoon.
