Lester Shriner is moving today from the George McElfresh farm from south of Rensselaer to the Ed Randle farm near Moody. Jack Rush is moving onto the farm vacated by Mr. Shriner. v Just received, 2 cars Pittston hard coal at Kellnerzafc Callahan’s. A. A. Fell, former treasurer of Jasper county and now living on a farm near Remington is reported to be very sick. It has not been learned what the trouble is. Mr. Fell was in Rensselaer a few days ago and at that time was apparently in his usual state of health.
J. W. Sink and family have moved to Kankakee, 111., where he will continue in the employ of the International Harvester Co. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Kincaid have moved here and will occupy the house vacated by Mr. Sink. Mr. Kincaid is also in the employ of the Harvester Co. Something Good. Trustee Grant Davidson, who has had a pretty tough siege of measles, is improving. The mothers of Mesdames F. E. Babcock and Russell Van Hook are recovering from attacks of pneumonia. Jay W. Stockton was arrested on a new affidavit, Wednesday, and was put under a SI,OOO bond signed by Sherman Thornton. Vernon Harrington had so far recovered from his recent severe attack of pneumonia that he was able to go' to his home, Tuesday afternoon. The American flag, is floating from the top of the city water tower, since the ’ other evening School officials have made an effort to find out who did it, but without success so far.
