Mrs. M. J. Fenton, of Kankakee, 111., is suffering from an attack of LaGrippe at the home of her sister, Mrs. H. A. Quinn. Purdue retained their lead in the big nine basketball race when they defeated Chicago at Lafayette. The Boiei makers won 16 to 13. By mistake, tonights program at the Star was advertised for last night, to the disappointment of many. Tonight is the Billy Burke night in addition to the regular program. The Dorcas Class of the M. E. Church, gave a little girl party, Tues - day evening at the home —of Mrs. Tom Hoyes. The invited guests were Mrs. Rev. Strecker, Mrs. Dr. Hemphill, Mrs. J. Hunt and Mrs. Dr. English. All had a poly time and very nice refreshments were served.
