Janozt Rigo,. gypsy violinist, was once the husband of the late Princess Chimay, who before her marriage to the Belgian nobleman was Clara Ward of Detroit, Her father left her many millions when he died. Rigo met the princess when she and the late king of BelgiunJ with members of his staff were dining in a restaurant in Paris: Rigo played, s and afterthe performance kissed her hand. A few days later they eloped, dressed as gypsies. For 11 years the princess showered him with presents. Today he possesses- caskets of jewels worth many thousands of dollars given him by her.
