During Noon Hour Saturday.
Rensselaer merchants have agreed to close their places of business during the noon hour Saturday 4n memory of the late Admiral George H. Dewey, whose death occurred Wednesday. John O’Connor visited the merchants today and all readily agreed to the plan. The banks, bakeries, butcher shops, clothing and dry goods stores, drug stores, grocery stores, hardware stores, the postoffice, pool rooms, tailor shops, variety stores, newsstands, and other lines of business in the city will be susfor one hour. The flags on the school house and court house will be at half mast.
