Rumored R. R. Men Are. Planning Strike Vote.
That four railway brotherhoods will take another vote whether or not to strike in the "event the eight hour . work day is not granted by the railroads, is the declaration of the American Railway Employes Journal, the January is&ue of which was published at Kansas City," Mo., last week. According to th,e Journal, the four brotherhood chiefs have asked the general chairman of the trainmen’s organization to meet in Chicago January I,lth. The Journal says: “The meeting is for the purpose of consulting the general chairman and decide on the line of action made necessary by the railroad managers’ refusal to put into effect the eight hour work day, as contemplated by the Adamson law.
