Former Jasper County Man May Be Warden.

A report says that Sheriff Henry Whitaker, who steps out of office on January 1, may land in a state berth as warden of Prison North, the Michigan City penitentiary, if the wires leading to the offices of Governor-elect James Goodrich do not snap before January 1.
