. REMINGTON. Mrs. Edward Lorenz, of Elkhart, came Tuesday for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnson. Mrs. Ed Weller went to Lafayette Tuesday for a few days' stay. Miss Clara Kuhlman, of Bloomington, 111., came Sunday for a week’s visit with her brother, Jacob Ochs and family. Floyd Baughman passed away at the home of his father-in-law, Carl Stoll, Monday morning after a several months’ illness. He was well known here as he was worked in the Lewis barber shop for the past year. The funeral service was held at the Catholic church Wednesday morning, niterment in the Catholic cemetery. Miss Ethel Markin and Orville Elvis were quietly married at the home of the bride’s parents, Rev. and Mrs. T. B. Marken, of south of town, Monday evening, Rec. 18. Rev. Markin performed the ceremony. They will make their future home-in the Debo property. Miss Alta Berchette and Lee Meadows were married Wednesday afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents. They will make their home on a farm south of town.
Mr. and Mrs. I. D. Luckey celebrated their golden anniversary Saturday. The members of the G. A. R. came with well filled baskets to spend a very pleasant day with thorn.
