Kerosene As s Motor Fuel. The attempt of Alfred Gohn to drive an ordinary automobile from Warren to New York with common kerosene as the motive power, was successful under adverse circumstances. .He encountered weather which made the going herd, and even froze his radiator, but in spite of this he made an average of 20 miles to the gallon. Nor was this kerosene specially prepaired for the purpose, but was purchased at the stores on the route as the driver needed it.
