The Monon Files Case On Appeal in Circuit Court. The suit of Frank Pearson against the Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville Railroad Company has been appealed to the circuit court from Monon township. Pearson was given a judgment of $“00 and costs against the railway company for a horse killed by a Monon train ,and the defendant company appealed the case. Pearson alleged that tbp railway company had placed no cattle guards or fence along its right of way. ■ Young Couple Married Last Sunday Afternoon. Monticello Journal. The marriage of John Collins*. Jr., of this city, to a Miss Shell, daughter of James Shell, of Rensselaer, took place Sunday at the bride's home. The young couple will reside in a house on the Dennis Teeter farm, north of town. Mr. Collins is a wpll known local teamster and farmer, having been employed as a teamster fob the Hdnshaw Coal Co., this winter.
