Morocco High School Claiming State Title.
Under the caption, “A Fighting Cock,” the Morocco Courier of today contains an article relative t othe high school team of that place. At the top of the article there is a picture of a “Fightning CocX”. The article follows: . -I‘He is not crowing because he .whipped everything that came along and because he tried to pick fights with many others would -timidly, flop their wings and walk off, but because several of his feathered enemies have defiefl him at distance and when they saw him coming threw up their wings with an excuse and ran around the barn out of sight, only to pitch on a bantam or spring chicken. He has won many ribbons (mostly blue ones) at the poultry shows because of his magnificent plumage of black and gold. One of the greatest advantages he has had over other cockerels is that he was never known to get cold feet. However, most of his value, is due to his gameness as a fighting cock. This alone has won him the title, “Champion of Indiana.”
