Human Fly Pulls Thrillers At Lafayette Monday.

With ten thousand people looking on, Harry Gardiner, the “Human Fly,” scaled the walls of the seven story Loan & Trust Company building at Lafayette Monday. As on the previous day when he climbed to the dome of the court house; he used only his hands and feet. At the fifth story he pulled a trick that made the crowd casp, all believing that he was about to fall. He rested his elbows against the sides of the window casing,. and allowed his feet to slip off. The vast crowd was unable to see that he was holding with his fingers and when he slipped everyone expected to see him dashed to the ground below.
