The drinking water of many farmw is impure, unfit for drinking, owing tc< contamination from barnyards and other sources surrounding the farm home. The farmer does not realize that though the well is separated from cortaminating sources by several hundre I feet, there may yet be danger that lit waters are impure, containing gerni of disease.
