W. L. Wood’s Majority in Three Counties Was 1447.
Robert Hamilton, sheriff of Benton county, and Egbert Hess, Sheriff of Newton county, were in Rensselaer Wedensday and aided by Sheriff McColly of Jasper county, made a canvass of the vote of the three counties of the joint representative candidates in the recent -election, W. L. Wood and Carl Lamb. In the case of the vote on joint representative the sherof the counties represented are required to make a canvass and the official vote is sent to state headquarters. The vote of Wood and Lamb was found to be as follows:
