CO COMMISSIONERS IN SESSION MONDAY

Adjourn Until After the Election— Business Transacted By Them. The counity commissioners met in regular session Monday. After allowing bills and acting upon certain matters the board adjourned until after the election, and will meet again Wednesday and finish up the business of the term. The following business was transacted : The auditor was directed to readvertise for bids for the repair of the Hebron grade. Thomas M. Callahan, petition for highway. John Nowels, John F. Zimmer and W. V. Porter appointed viewers.

Henry M. Raybum, petition for stone road improvement. Bond of A. S. Williams, superintendent of construction, examined and approved. Chas. V. May, treasurer, reports sale of bonds at Par, accrued interest and $327.10 premium. Wm. ~L. Wood et al, petition for Stone road. Audito/ directed to advertise for bids. James Lane et al. Petition for stone road. Same action. John Bomtrager et al. Petition for stone road. Same action. Robert J. Yoeman et al. Petition for stone road. Same action. W. F. Osborne, contractor, was granted an extension of time to Jan. Ist on the King-Lawler drain. John F. Zimmer, petition fpr drain. Hearing of remonstrances set for November 13th. The auditor was directed to advertise for bids for county farm supplies for the ensuing quarter. The trustee of Barkley township was granted permission to extend aid to Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Snyder to the amount of $75. The Board of Finance reported interest for the month of Octboer as follows: First National Bank, $124j53; State Bank of Remington, $66.58; State Bank of Rensselaer, $74.89; Bank of Wheatfield, $29.23.
