The young woman who cashed the checks : has turned out to be Florence' 1 ' Lucille ! Allen, one of the foremost female 1 forgers in the country. She special- ; izes on physicians, her game being to ' call on a physician for treatmenfanT get his signature to a prescription blank. These signatures she imitates perfectly. In Lafayette her victim was Guy P. Levering and using his name she drew two checks, each for $75, and had no trouble cashing them. She got out of Lafayette with tjie money and has not yet been apprei hended.
