UNITED STATES HOSPITAL TRAIN
The iirst United States hospital train put into service consists of ten coaches built by the Pullman company, and is as complete as any train on the European front. If has every modern hospltal convenience. The train consists of a service or combination first Sid and surgical car, •which is in Itself a thoroughly equipped operating room, six cars for
patients, one standard Pullman, a combination baggage and library car and a kitchen. The cars for patients contain nine floor cots of steel on each side, in ad--dition to which upper berths may be utilized, ns in standard Pullmans, making the car capacity 3ft people. The train will be used to transport men from field to base hospitals.
