Jasper County Poultry and Com Show First Week in January

A meeting of the Jasper County Poultry Association was held Friday evening at the Wallace Produce Market, to make preliminary arrangements for the poultry and com show to be held the first week in January 1917. Prizes aggregating S2OO will be awarded to the winers of the different events. The show this year will be free to the general public. In past years an admission price of 10c was charged, but this wil be abandoned in the future. The association has decided to have a com show in connection with the poultry show next yeai, and no entrance fee will be charged to those wishing to exhibit com.
