Miss Phoebe Randle, who has been visiting for the past several months with her sister, Mrs. B. Forsythe, went to Chicago Friday to visit until Monday with friends, when her mother, Mrs. Robert Randle, will join her there and they will return to their home in Parsons, Kansas. Storming the jail, fifty armed men early yesterday at Olathe, Kansas, lynched Bert Dudley, white, avenging the brutal murder of Mr. ->nd Mrs. Henry Miller, for which he was convicted Tuesday. A large bunch of St. Joe college students from Rensselaer took a hike over this way Monday, and for a time made the old town ring with their hilarity. The annual reunion of the FortyEighth Indiana Regiment was held at Plymouth on Wednesday. Forty veterans were present, some of them being accompanied by their wives. D. H. Yeoman, W. H. Sayler and J. N. Hemphill, of Co. K, and W. D. Sayler, of Co. D, all of Rensselaer, attended the reunion.
