Gentlemen: I notice that you arc offering a prize of SIOO for the best answer in 150 words to the question: “Why have Hughes’ speeches been so disappointing?” Here is the best answer: “Because, if Mr. Hughes’ speeches did not disappoint you, they would disappoint those who want him elected.” - You may supply the other 133 words yourself: use the SIOO betting on Hughes at the current odds, 2% to 1, and send me the $250 the day after the election.
