RELIABLE REMEDY FOR LICE

Any Good, Mild Grease, Either Lard or Meat Fryings Mixed With Kerosene, Is Favored. For chicken lice one of the most reliable remedies is any good, mild grease, either lard or meat fryings, or a mixture of any with a little kerosene. It won’t hurt the chicks or large fowls as long as you don’t get it too strong. Rub the grease in the feathers for lice on the body, while for mites put kerosene on the roosts once a week.
