Obituary.
Mary Geraldine, daughter of Estil and Vera Osborpe, was born near Rensselaer July 24, 1915, and died September 15, 1916, at the age of one year, one month and 21 days. She leaves to mourn their loss a father, mother, one brother, four grandparents and a host of other ' relatives. Always bright, happy and affectionate, she was loved by all who knew her and her death, resulting from only a few hours’ illness, came as a shock to both relatives and friends. She was a member of the Cradle Roll of the M. E. church of Rensselaer. Just one short year she tarried, To cheer each passing day; To fill our home with gladness And then she went away. We cannot call her back to us, She has passed beyond our power; But we shall meet our babe again In Heaven’s golden bower. Henry Eigelsbach, who has been sick for the past week, is able to be around again. Mrs. Clifford Hamacher, formerly Miss Lena Shultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ugust R. Shultz, returned to her home in Hammond Saturday after visiting, her parents. J. N. Leatherman and daughter, Miss Helen, left today for Nashville, Tenn-, where Miss Helen will enter the Xyard-Belmont school, a boarding sch-otol of about 300 students. < It is not known yet whether Candidate Hughes will make a stop in Rensselaer on the 21st. It is thought that an answer will be obtained rom the speakers’ bureau at Indianapolis some time this Afternoon.
