CHICAGO GIRL DIES OF PLAGUE IN EAST

Chicago Tribune. Grate Madeline Rockwell, aged 6, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence D. Rockwell, of 1260 Lake Shore drive, died yesterday of infantile paralysis at the Pittsfield, Mass., heme of her grandmother, Mrs. Elisa H. Whitehead. Mrs. Rockwell has left Chicago and will reach Pittsfield today. Her husband, a real estate dealer, is stationed at Fort Sam Houston with a Chicago battery. Three new cases of infantile paralysis were reported- yesterday to the city health department. Another death occurred, that of Ida'Cohen. The new cases were those of a girl 14 years old on N. Talman Ave.; a boy 18 months old, West Superior; and a boy 2 years old, W. 54th street.
