The engagement of Miss Edna Babcock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.""L. Babcock, of Parr, to Mr. Frank Goss, of Remington, was announced this afternoon at an entertainment given in Miss Babcock’s honor by ■Mrs. E. C. English and Mrs. Walter English, of Lafayette, sister of Miss Babcock, to twenty young lady friends. * The marriage will take place at the home of the bride’s parents, Saturday, September 30, in Union township.
