All Newton Progressive Candidates Are Resigning.

Kentland, Ind., Sept. 7. —All of the candidates nominated on the progressive county ticket at the primaries last March in Newton county will file their resignations with the county board of election commissioners tomorrow. It is likely that the progressive central committee claiming that the republican, democratic and prohibition parties have each constructed a platform form planks furnished by the progressives, will in the near future disband their organization. The consensus of opinion among all leaders of parties in this county is that the .present primary election law should be so amended as to provide for the primary nominating election to be held at aI later date, or about September Ist. >
