Many Building Improvements Going On In Rensselaer.
One has but to take a trip over Rensselaer in an automobile to realize how much improvement in building lines is going on in the city. Qnc unfamiliar with the conditions will surely be surprised with what they find. There are very few sections in the city that ore showing improvement of some sort. But probably the greatest improvement in any part of Rensselaer is in the Fred Phillips addition, oi College avenue. The improvement in Fairview addition in the past year or so has been wonderful, and one would -hardly, recognize t as the houseless tract of only three or four years ago. Three houses are now under construction, those of Joe Jeffries, C. Earl Duvall and George Hopkins. They arc all on adjoining lots and facing Colelge avenue, and when finished will make eight houses in a row closely adjoining on* another. Another building that will soon be completed and that Ayill 'add „ greatly to the beauty of the c : ty is the new hospital. The building is beautifully designed and when finished will oe as pretty and neat a little hospital as anyone could desire. It will probably be ready for occupancy about the middle of October.
