Misses Beatrice and Cophine Branch, who have spent the summer here witn their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Wilcox, left for their home in Stockton", Calif., yesterday. Mrs. Thomas Goodman and baby and mother, Mrs. Eldon Ijopkins, went to North Manchester yesterday to visit relatives. Before returning they will also visit relatives at Wabash. Examinations for city mail carriers wilt be held in Delphi next Saturday. Twenty-five or thirty persons have applied for examination application blanks and it is thought that at least fifteen of that number will appear for the test. Mrs. Jennie Wishard went to Chicago yesterday to visit her son, Melvin Wishard, and from there to Fenton, Mich., to visit her niece, Mrs. Josie Skidmore. Mrs. Wishard expects to spend this winter with her son, Will, at Rocky Ford, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Horatio Ropp, of Dowagiac, Mich., who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gary Snedeker here, left today for Urbaafi, Ohio, to visit relatives and friends there. They will also visit at Columbus, Ohio, before returning home.
