School commences next Monday with Russell Gray as teacher. - Mrs. Cora Eldridge called on Mrs. cKas. Lefler Monday afternoon. Frank Overton and family visited his brother, Will, vat Monon Sunday. Jos. Stewart and wife took Sunday dinner with H. C. Anderson and wife. The Jacks reunion was held at Monticello Sunday. There were about 200 present. Miss Delena Lefler spent Monday afternoon with Thelma and Etha Noland. Misess Cora Noland, Edith Overton and Velda Heltzel were out riding Monday afternoon. Roy Heltzel and family joined in the home gathering held at the home of his mother near Monon Sunday. Will Stiers and family and Roy Stiers attended the funeral of their brother-in-law, Mr. Mann, at Kankakee Friday. Jas. Culp and wife, Geo. Holman, wife and son, Mrs. Kate Holman, Ray Holman and family and Miss Chloa Overton all autoed to Warsaw Saturday to visit relatives. They returned Sufiday evening. J. F. Eldridge and family attended the Eldridge reunion* held Sunday at the home of Bert Eldridge, of Nauvoo. There were nearly a hundred present. A large table was filled with edibles at the noon hour and ice cream was* served in the afternoon. Everybody had their pictures taken before the crowd broke up.
