I. M. Washburn and C. R. Dean to Battle for Championship Saturday.
The Final match for the title of city tennis champion will take place Saturday morning at 11 o’clock between Dr. I. M. Washburn and C. R. Dean. Both of these contestants have been successful in all their matches to date and a hot battle is expected. Dr. Washburn eliminated a dangerous contestant Thursday when he disposed of William Babcock. Washburn is recognized as present title holder, but Dean hias been improving so much in his game of late that he is thought to have a good chance to annex the title honors, or at least to give the present title holder a stiff argument.
