John Summers Wishes to Deny Story Printed Recently.

A letter was received by The Republican today from John Summers, of Lafayette denying the charges that were published recently concerning him. The article which appeared in this paper yas taken from the Lafayette Journal and also appeared in several other papers. Mr. Summers’ letter follows: “Editor Republican: -“Would like to inform the public that I did not borrow Mr. Bauer’s car to go joy-riding in and that I did not go to Michigan City and stay all night with a woman, as was printed in yous paper. Also inform the public that I have not left home and am not going to leave. Have been in Lafayette all the time. Please print this. Yours very truly,
