The Jasper County Teachers’ Institute will not be held this year until the first week in October. Most of the township schools will begin on September 11. Last year the institute wsa held before the opening of the schools and it had been the intention to so hold it again this year, but Superintendent Lamson decided later to put it off until October. Wynegar received a telegram Tuesday from his son, Grant, that ne had just arrived in Indianapolis and would be stationed there as a recruiting officer.
