MRS. EU ARNOLD DIED SUNDAY
Wife of Prominent Farmer Passed Away at Her Home in Barkley Township Sunday Evening.
Mrs. Eli Arnold, 44 years of age, passed away at her home in Barkley township Sunday evening at 6:30 o’clock, from an illness Which dates from last spring. Death was due to a blood clot which carried to the heart, causing death instantly. Mrs. Arnold had been in Wesley hospital for several weeks, until about a week ago, when she was brought hone on advice of ner physician. Mrs. Arnold had been restless during the entire day, a blood clot having settled in her thigh a few days ago, and Sunday the clot carried to her heart. Mrs. Arnold was an extremely well known lady and was .loved and respected by all who knew her, and her death leaves a vacancy that will be hard to fill.
She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, six children, Harry, living north of Rensselaer; Mrs. Katharine Wlaymire, of Union township; Vannie, Mirs. Marie Sltoner, of Barkley township; Bethel and Eli, three years of age, and three brother®, Dan, Van and John, all of this county. Her parents preceded her to the grave. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at the house at 2 o’clock, being conducted by Rev. Miller, of near Lafayette, and Rev. Flora, of Flora. Interment will be made in the Dunkard. cemetery in Barkley township.
