Erwin’s family for the past two weeks, returned to hex hiome in Chicago Monday. Oar.l Carpenter luas taken a jab as operator at Haiskells. Mists Beulah Shehen, of Mionon, is here with hex grandmother, Mrs. Eight, who is ill. Chats. “Manderville is here again looking after his mother and Can, wfhio are both quite poorly. Mrs. Vendor smith, of Brook, visited a day this week with her husband, who is staying out west of town on the farm. The M. E. Aid Society will meet on Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Morton Clifton. Mrs. A 1 Moore and two children are here for a few weeks and will stay at their house out east of town. iMrs. Wm. Petty returned Saturday from a month’s viisit with her parents at Bloomfield. A. Clifton has moved his family to the John Casey house. •Mrs. Chas. Gundy visited a few days last week with her daughter, Mrs. Jiohn Deen, west of town. iSam Karr is fixing up his engine and separator preparatory to* thrashing 'tjhis season. The section men on the Monan here struck Saturday for higher wages and axe still off duty.
