Clifford Bever went to Peru and other places yesterday on business. James Kennedy and Charles Brand were purchasers of Dodge cars last week. Mrs. J. J. Montgomery returned today from a four weeks’ visit with her mother in Illinois. Miss Edith West went to Hammond tbday to visit Rev. and Mrs. Parrett for a few days. '. The band concert tonight will be a program made up entirely of popular music. Mrs. F. B. Ham will leave this evening for a visit with relatives at St. Louis, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Jenkins, of Danville, 111., are visiting Mrs. Ocie Nicholson at Parr. Mrs. J. D. Long, of Shelbyville, is expected today to visit her sister, Mrs. D. M. Worland and family. Mrs. Earl E. West and children are here visiting her husband’s mother, Mrs. James West and family. Mr. and Mrs. Schuyler C. Irwin and daughter went to Indianapolis t’day on business and will return tomorrow. Mrs. John Gwin went to Chicago this morning where she attends the, Chicago Musical College once a week, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hopkins went to Big Rapids, Mich., today to ..pend a week on the lakes and visit friends. Mrs. L. R. Frost and baby, of Hammond, formerly Miss Irene Bird, came today to visit Mass Doris Moi lan and other friends. Mrs. <R. F. Orwig, formerly Miss •Wilma Peyton, went to Platville, Wis.;' today to join her husband 1 , after visiting her mother, Mrs. Mary Peyton and family. - Miss Esther Christensen, who has been visiting Miss Esther Kruse, returned to Chicago today accompanied by Miss Kruse, who will spend about three weeks with. her.
