The home of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Heuson, at McCoysburg, was the scene of a very pleasant gathering Sunday when guests to the number of 52 arrived with well-filled 'baskets to remind Mrs. Heuson of her birthday and to make it complete, it was a total surprise. .After a bountiful dinner was serve® and everyone had considerably revived the refreshments of ice cream and cake were served. They all departed at a late hour, wishing Mrs. Heuson many more such happy birthdays.—A Guest.
