Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Canfield, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Lucas, returned to their home at Urbana, 111., Thursday. . 1 Dick DeYoung returned from Ft. Harrison Friday. ' Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Lucas returned to their home at Portland, Oreg., Saturday. Mrs. Rosetta Sumner accompanied her daughter. Mrs. Lucas will remain in the west for an extended visit. '■* Miss Margaret Maher and friend, Miss Chawner, of Chicago, visited Miss Julia Oliver Thursday. Colonel Ruxton, of Chicago, visited Wm. Whited Friday. Miss Rosalie Gallagher spent Saturday in Newland. Mr. and Mrs. John Claussen are enjoying a visit with their son, George Claussen, who is here with his wife and family; also,a daughter of Mrs. H. Nichols, who is visiting her parents. James Graham, of Crawfordsville, arrived last week to spend the summer with L. M. Coovert.
