Quarterly conference was held at the M. E. church last Sunday. Elinore and Floyd Moore, of Lafayette, are visitinf A. M. Bringle s. Chas. Manderville was home again this week* W. S. Cottingham had a very sesere attack of heart trouble last Sunday night. Chas. Gundy has repapered and repaired his house. The ladies of the M. E. church will hold a lawn social and serve ice cream and cake at McKay’s Saturday evening, July 15th. All invoted. The ball team played the Rensselaer Forresters Sunday. Score 12 to 6 in favor of Fair Oaks. ... Prayer meeting at the Christian church Thursday evening. There have been several carloads of fat hogs and cattle shipped from here this week. -
