Pitcher Muddell, Former Brooklyn Semipro, Has Speed, a Spltter and a Wonderful Curve Ball. The Montreal Internationals seem to have made a ten-strike in the signing of pitcher Muddell, a former Brooklyn semipro. The Brooklyn StandardUnion, speaking of Muddell, says: "Muddell has speed, a good spltter and a wonderful curve ball. Ball players who have seen him in action declare him a comiug star.” Muddell is a right-hander, 5 feet 10 Inches tall, and weighs 163 pounds. He is only twentyone and should have a bright future.
