Mrs. Dan Morrissey returned from Surrey, where she visited Mrs. John Lonergan. > , Miss Phyllis Bishop, of Anderson, is visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Donnelly. Mrs. Wm. Huffman went to Indianapolis today to visit her daughter, Mrs. W. C. Majors and other relatives. . T - - -.-- • Miss Travis Milliken came from her home in Chicago today to visit her aunt, Miss Ida Milliken, uptil Monday. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Burris and little daughter, Eva, returned home after visiting her father in Francesville since Saturday.
Mrs. Frank Randle, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs. Eli Wood, at .Monon, came today to visit Mrs. Henry Randle. Mrs. John Hansson and daughter, Annetta, accompanied her son, Gravelous, on a trip to Grand Rapids, Mioh., to bring home a new Overland auto. Mrs. E. J. P. Alter has improved the appearance of her residence by the addition of a fine large veranda across the entire front. It has a cream ibrick front wall with brown moratr, which makes a very artistic combination. The members’ of the Dorcas class of the M. E. church held their June picnic supper at the home of Mrs. Hugh Hurley on Tuesday evening. The hostesses were Misses Alice Dewey and Stella Platt and Mrs. Hugh Hurley and Mrs. Wm. Platt. A very delightful time was reported by all. Miss Helen Warner went to Chicago this morning to attend a house party at the home of Miss Sarah Hopking. She will also visit her aunt, Mrs. Alice J.
