The small outdoor brooder is practically a thing of the past and it is well that it is so, for they were both unreliable and inconvenient to attend to, especially in stormy weather. It costs but little more to build a cheap colony house and equip it with either adaptable dr portable hover, or better still, the colony brooder stove, than it did formerly to purchase an Outdoor brooder that would really give reasonable satisfaction.
