Harmon this week. Mrs. Gaul, wife of the architect for the gym nasi urn, visited St. -Joe this week. Mrs. F. R. Rowen came from Fair Oaks to spend the day with Mrs. N. Littlefield. Mrs. Frank Medland returned to Logansport today after visiting with Mrs. L. H. Harmon. Miss Monica Foreman and Miss Wellman visited St. Joseph’s commencement week. Miss Mary Wagner went to Chicago today for an extended visit with her aunt, Mrs. Arthur Wilkin. St. Joseph college students are leaving for their homes - today to sipend the summer vacation. Mrs. G. Miss Kathryn Hepp, of Monticello, and Miss Clo Hepp, of Winamac, visited their cousin, Jerome Hepp, at the college this week. Miss Hazel Lucas, of Remington, came Monday for a few days’ visit with relatives here, after a two week visit with her uncle, E. H. Hilliard at Wheatfield. Mrs. Hugh Hurley went to Reynolds Today to be with her husband’s grandmother, Mrs. Cearing, who is very ill with a cancer and it is feared can not long survive. Miss Mildred Biggs and Mrs. Don Beam entertained about fourteen girls at a bridge party Tuesday evening. Light refreshments were .served. Mrs. Thomas Scanlon and son, Joseph, of Indianapolis, spent three days at St. Joe this week. Their son, Thomas, who attended St. Joe, will return home with them. Miss Fairy Pollard left today for a three weeks’ visit at Indianapolis and Bloomfield. She will visit Miss Opal at Indianapoli sand Mrs. Pearl Haig at Bloomfield, her sisters. Mr. and" Mrs. C. W. Moffitt, a recent bride and groom, are visiting at the home of Peter McDaniels. Their home is in Maywood, 111., and they are just now returning from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls. Little Ely Randel, who has been visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Henry Randle, went to Attica today to visit his aunt, Mrs. Grant Hoover, and after a few’ weeks’ visit will go to his home in Waynetown, Ind. Mrs. C. H. Cain, who has been in poor health for some time and who is visiting relatives at Momence, 111., was visited Sunday by her lusband and children.
