White embroidered nets will be much worn this season, as will the lingerie dresses of former years for midsummer. Some early models, combining the net and embroidered handkerchief linen, are very attractive and smart. These gowns are elaborately embroidered on eyelet work. Net and lace gowns are to be popular, while the lace-trimmed lingerie dress seems to have come back into its own this year. 1
