Grover Cleveland Alexander, the Phillies" star pitcher and the Premier boxman of the National league, made his first ascension In an aeroplane with Johnny Green, the aviator, who made the trip across the Lookout Mountains n Manager Meran.-sum.Jfery reluctant about letting Alexander make the trip, he does not want his $40,000 star to get the habit of making these aerial ascensions nor does he want to run the risk of Alexander getting hurt.
