DURBOROUGH BATTLE FILMS TO BE SHOWN

Rex Theatre Will Show Famous Pictures Next Wednesday at Matinee ano Evening. The famous Durborough battle films are to toe shown at the Rex Theatre next Wednesday afternoon and* evening, May 3rd. The feature is the greatest war film exhibition evej shown and the pictures w?re all taken from the German side of the great conflict. The views include pictures of the kaiser and his family, of the leading generals and the stirring episodes of the great drive made by the Germans against Russia. The films have a total length of 8,500 feet and are being received with enthusiasm wherever shown. They show the economic side of Germany and an insight into the military conditions there. The Republican has arranged for the exhibit and the afternoon and evening performances are given under the auspices of this paper. \ W. H. Durborough, the press photographer, traveresd 8,000 miles in securing these famous pictures and he passed time and again through the fire swept regions in his effort to plant his camera where he could get the best scenes from the front for his American audiences. The performance is a &-reel feature and the prices have been set ,at 25 centS and 15 cents. The matinee performanee will start at 2 o’clock and the evening perform sftice at 7. The pictures will be extensively advertised in this paper and by window cards and posters and every person should endeavor to see these instructive and thrilling pictures.
