Lots of Money Paid In Taxes During Past Week.

A large amount of money was paid in taxes to the county treasurer during the past week. The amounts taken in for four days last week were as follows: Wednesday $10,065.4.1 Thursday 15,146. / 6 Friday 22,475.7’) Saturday 24,437.33 .Treasurer May and his deputies are still busy opening up letters with tax enclosures and up to noon had not figured up the total receipts for the day, but there vas something in excess of $42,000. The total receipts since the first of the year exceed $236,000.
