PLOT TO BLIND AVIATOR

A victim of Chinese political intrigue, Tom Gun, intrepid Chinese aviator of San Francisco, who recently took his machine to China to teach aviation to Yuan Shih Kai’s soldiers, nearly lost his eyesight in the palace of the governor ot Canton when he washed with water Into which an enemy had placed carbolic acid. His face was horribly burned. Gun was born in San Francisco of Chinese parents.
