Wealthy Resident of Greencastle Bequeaths $25,000 to DePauw.
Greencastle, Ind., April 14. —DePauw university is benefited to the extent of about $25,000 through the generosity of Bascom O’Hair, a wealthy resident of this city, who died April 9. The will bequeaths to DePauw the Commercial hotel property here, which is valued at about $25,000. This is to be held by DePauw and the money derived from it is to be used in teaching the theory and practice of common business. The fund will be known as the Bascom O’Hair fund.
