Christian Endeavor every Sunday evening at 7. All come. . Mrs. Hobbs went to Hammond last Thursday to do some shopping. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Hobbs autoed to Crown Point Wednesday on business. Arthur Short made a trip to Rensselaer last Saturday to see Dr. Turner. The Misses Bella Steele and Polly Stevenson called at the Jas. Short home last Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Lewis and Mrs. Lee Fisher and children attended the funeral of Judge Field at Crowm Point Tuesday. Miss Lillian True, of South Bend, visited with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Roy True, of DeMotte, last Thursday and Friday. There will be preaching service after Sunday school next Sunday. Sunday school at 10 a. "m. and preaching at 11. 'Everyone invited. . Miss Emma Short came home for a visit last Thursday, returning to Rolling Prairie Saturday morning, where she is attending school.
