Mrs. Abercrombie, wife of Congressman J. W. Abercrombie of Alabama, is one of Washington’s popular hostesses. Like her husband, who was a university president before he came to congress. Mrs. Abwcrombie is well known among southern educators. This picture shows her with her young daughter, Jane.
